Orndorf & Associates, Inc. (O&A) is a structural engineering and design firm with a strong presence in the Philadelphia, PA region and surrounding states. We are an award-winning, client-focused company that seamlessly combines the extensive expertise of a large engineering firm with the personalized service of a small firm.
Kevin Orndorf, our principal, has over 40 years of diverse structural engineering design experience. Our specialized team of engineers has a diverse skillset in the design of steel, concrete, timber, masonry, and cold-formed metal framed structures. We also work with clients to assist with construction means and methods, including site shoring of excavation and underpinning design.
We are currently licensed in 32 states, plus Washington, D.C., and will travel to meet our clients' needs.
Services
Our expertise encompasses a wide range of project types, including new construction, renovations, retrofits, adaptive reuse, and historic rehabilitation. Alongside our design services, we also provide engineering feasibility studies, due-diligence surveys, constructability reviews, and peer review analyses. We have experience working on projects of various sizes, scopes, and complexities, with construction values ranging from one million to one hundred million dollars. Our market sectors include retail and commercial, education, healthcare, government, industrial, religious, hospitality, and housing, including single-family, multi-family, and high-end residential developments.

Revit (BIM)
Orndorf & Associates, Inc. is proficient in Revit. This software allows for seamless integration with Revit Architecture and Revit MEP, enabling us to create a comprehensive building information model (BIM). BIM encompasses the use of a consistent, coordinated, and computable building model, as well as accurate construction documents and cost estimations. Revit enables us to work collaboratively with our architectural clients, streamlining coordination efforts and providing new opportunities for collaboration.
